Yoga Is for Every Body

Hi. My name is Erin Waugh. I am a lifelong musician who has worn many hats, none of which fit because of my teeny-tiny head. It’s okay, because it’s balanced out by my orangutan arms.

Took my first yoga class in 2012. Got my first teaching certificate in 2017. In October of 2025, someone handed me a baby and said: “Congratulations! You own a yoga studio! Feed it every day, take it for walks, and teach it how to play well with others. Here are some plastic bags in case of, um, accidents.”

I named the studio Resonance because that seemed both loud and soft. (Balance, ya know?) The first thing I did was install a new sound system. The second thing I did was order too much merch because of the sweet, sweet logo designed by my son. (“Too Much Merch” would make a great band name.) The third thing I did was take a nap. (Balance, ya know?)
